Express Decodable Readers Set 3 Supplemental Set (8 Titles)

Step 3 Supplemental Decodable Book Set contains eight books with simple sentences and words with digraphs and short vowels. Step 3 also contains multisyllabic words. As they continue to overcome obstacles with a positive attitude, we hear from both new and old characters.

Frog’s Tennis Match

• Frog wants to try out a new sport to see if he will be good at it and like playing. He starts with tennis. Through a game with his friend Cub, Frog realizes tennis is not his sport. He remains positive, loves playing chess, and thinks he will try cricket next!

• Cub has a new job as a trashman. He is doing a great job until something breaks on his truck. Luckily, his pal Dog can help him fix the truck so Cub can finish his job!

Helpful Fish

• Fish can’t often help friends, because she can only be in her dish or in water. However, Cat needs help to get comfortable in the water so she can go to Frog’s party in the pond. Fish can help, because it is helping a friend in the water!

Pig’s Shed

• Pig wants a place to hang out that is as cool as the ones his friends have. He has a shed, but the shed is broken down and dirty. His pals come along to help him turn the shed on his lot into a neat crash pad!

The Richest Chimp

• Chimp thinks he is the richest chimp in all the land, but he doesn’t have much money. How could he be the richest chimp? He is rich because he has so many wonderful friends!

Dog And The Sloth

• Dog hears someone in trouble in the woods while he is on a jog. When he goes to inspect, he finds a sloth in trouble in an elm tree. It is an odd place for a sloth to be! Dog figures out a way to help the sloth out and gains a new friend in the process!

Duck And The Mix-Up

• Duck has a wish list for his birthday. Bug has given the list to all the pals, but the items Duck gets for his birthday are slightly different than what he had wished for. Why did this happen? Bug accidentally dropped the list, and the pen ran! It’s ok though, because Duck had a wonderful time with his friends!

The Twin Bed

• The snakes do not fit in their twin bed together. They may be twins, but they need more space! Luckily, one of the snakes a bunk bed!
