1. General Questions

How much is delivery? 

We charge €6.50 for orders under €100, excluding bulk items. (ROI addresses only). 

Once you add items to your basket & enter your shipping address your postage charge will be calculated.

 

How long does delivery take? 

We aim to dispatch all orders placed before 11am, same day. However, if some items you have ordered are 'awaiting stock' your order may be delayed.

Our team aims to notify you within 24 hours, if there is a delay with your order.

Please note: During busy periods (Back to School, End of Term & Christmas Periods), dispatch may take 3–5 working days. Delivery with An Post may then take an additional 3–5 working days.


 

Can I cancel or modify my order?

We try to process orders as quickly as possible, but if you need to modify or cancel your order, please contact our customer service team as soon as possible. 

We'll do our best to accommodate your request, however if your order has already been dispatched we are unable to make amendments.

Do you have a physical store?

Currently, we do not have a physical store. However, if you live local and would like to click & collect, give our team a ring and we'll do our best to accomodate you. 

2. Product Questions

1. Check your order confirmation email.

  • Confirm the delivery address entered at checkout is correct.
  • Use the tracking number in your dispatch email to track your parcel.

2. Check with others

  • If the parcel shows as delivered and signed for, please check with colleagues, reception staff, or household members who may have accepted it.
  • Once a parcel has been signed for at the delivery address, responsibility passes to the person who signed for it.

3. Safe place deliveries

  • At checkout, you agree that An Post may leave parcels in a safe place (e.g. behind a gate, in a shed/garage, with a neighbour).
  • Once An Post confirms the parcel has been left in a safe place, it is considered delivered.

4. Still missing? 

  • If you cannot locate your parcel, please email us at info@abcschoolsupplies.ie with your order number.
  • We’ll investigate with An Post and update you within 48 hours.

⚠️ Important: It is the customer’s responsibility to enter the correct delivery address when ordering. ABC School Supplies cannot accept responsibility for parcels delivered to incorrectly entered addresses. Once An Post confirms delivery to the address provided, we cannot take further action.

3. Missed a Delivery? 

If you’re not home, An Post will either:

A) Leave your parcel in a safe place

Possible locations: behind your fence, in your garage, or with a neighbour.

 

B) Leave a “Sorry We Missed You” card

Your parcel will be taken to your local sorting centre.

You must arrange redelivery within 2 working days or collect it at your local post office (bring the leaflet with you).

If the parcel is not collected within 3 working days, it will be returned to our warehouse.

  • We’ll contact you once it arrives back, and it can be resent for an additional shipping fee of €6.50.

4. How Long Do Pre-Ordered Items Take? 

It depends on the item. Where possible, we have added availability dates to the products. You will see this when viewing the product page.

What if I want my in-stock items delivered ASAP?

If you would like all in-stock items in your order to be dispatched ahead of the backordered items, you will be subject to an additional shipping charge of €6.50. This can be requested by contacting one of our customer service team, via email or phone.
