Jolly Grammar

Jolly Literacy expands on what was formerly Jolly Grammar – offering two six-level programmes; Spelling, Grammar & Punctuation & Reading Comprehension & Writing Skills. Spelling, Grammar & Punctuation offers a systematic, progressive approach to teaching spelling patterns and new grammatical concepts, like parts of speech and sentence structure. Children expand their vocabulary and comprehension skills, and develop dictionary and thesaurus skills. Teaching is multi-sensory and active. It also revises and consolidates the learning from previous years. Reading Comprehension & Writing Skills is bursting with rich texts and stimulating ideas to help children become thoughtful readers and expressive writers. It offers a full set of lesson plans for the year, with a Reading Comprehension Pupil Book and Writing Skills Workbook, plus a Teacher’s Book to provide full support.
