Calm Cards For Teens: Cards & Posters

The Calm Cards for Teens Cards and/Posters consist of ten beautiful, graffiti-style illustrations. Cards are A6 (100 x 140 mm) in size and laminated and Posters are.

A3 and printed on high quality 300 gsm card. The colouful illustrations are designed to promote positive mental health for teens (13 to 17 year-olds). The illustrations focus on helping teens practice mindfulness and self-compassion in their daily lives. In addition to the appealing illustration on the front, the cards each contain a mental health skill prompt and practical suggestion printed on the back (not printed on back of posters).

Calm Cards for Teens – Contents:

• Just breathe – In any moment in life, through the good times and bad, when we bring our attention to our breath we bring our focus to the “Here and Now“.
• Be kind – A great way to brighten up any moment is to use the mantra: “Be Kind“
• Thoughts are not facts – Our thoughts do not always tell us the truth. It is important to realise that you don’t have to believe all the thoughts you think!
• There’s no one like you and that is your superpower – There is no one else in the world quite like you.
• Love yourself first – The most important relationship you will ever have is the one you have with yourself.
• This too shall pass – One thing we can be sure of in life is that everything changes, whatever you are experiencing at this moment will be different soon.
• Do what feels right – We all have an inner wisdom that we can get in touch with when we learn to quieten our mind.
• Every moment is a chance to start again – We all make mistakes and do things we regret in life. It is important to remember that the past is over, we can never change the past or make it different.
• You are loveable – You are always enough, just as you are.
• The only time is now – The past is over, we can never go back, the future is not here yet, we can never be there either. We can only ever experience this moment or the “Now“.
