Learning Resources Design & Drill® Gears Workshop

Little engineers use a realistic working power drill, chunky bolts, and colourful gears to create twisting turning chain reactions while building their fine motor skills using the Design & Drill® Gears Workshop. This STEM construction set includes an activity board with convenient carry handle, drill, screwdriver, 9 gears in various sizes, 32 colourful bolts and 10 double-sided pattern cards.

• Children use the drill, gears, and bolts to re-create the included patterns or create their own custom pictures and designs.
• Manipulating the cards, bolts, gears, and drill builds the hand-strength, hand-eye-coordination and fine motor skills kids need to hold a fork, button their shirts, and hold a pencil to write.
